Application:
PROTECT EP resin is an epoxy-based duromer resin with a low-viscosity. The resin has a high penetration activity.
The PROTECT EP resin has a short setting time on dry as well as on moist substrates and hardens even under dynamic stress.
After hardening, the PROTECT EP resin has a very high compressive and tensile strength.

Preparation:
Before injection, the structure has to be inspected according to technical standards.

Mixing:
PROTECT EP resin consists of two components, component A and component B. They have to be mixed according to the recommendad ratio using slowly rotating stirrers until the mixture is homogeneous.
Before processing, the mixed reactive resin has to be repotted into a clean and empty container or a container in which only mixed resin of the same quality was stored.
Repotting is fulfilled when the resin is poured into the reservoir of an injection pump and remixed thoroughly.
The application time depends on the quantity of the mixed material and the ambient temperature.

Injection:
Injection is done with an injection pump.
The selection of the right injection packer depends primarily on the required injection pressure.
Work with PROTECT EP resin must be stopped if the temperature of the structure drops below +8 °C.

Cleaning:
Within the application time all tools can be cleaned with PROTECT Clean.
Partially or completely cured material can only be removed mechanically.
