Installation tutorial

PROTECT Easy 1K is supplied in a complete set ready for application. It is suitable for bonding of all common fibre cement distance tubes with fibre cement plugs.

Remove loose particles inside the distance tubes and clean the inside using the cleaning brush.

Clean the distance tube from dust.

PROTECT Easy 1K is immediately ready for use. Open the bag.

Press the quantity required for bonding into the procssing cup.

The aluminium bag can easily be resealed using the clip.

Dip the fibre cement plug into PROTECT Easy 1K. The amount of material applied must be sufficient to enable full-faced bonding of the sides of the plug with the inside of the distance tube.

Push the first plug slightly further inside the distance tube to be bonded.

Apply the same amount of PROTECT Easy 1K onto a second plug and push it into the distance tube as well. This second plug will push both plugs into their desired final positions.
