Swelling Tapes bentonite and TPE
Swelling tapes prevent that pressing and non-pressing water penetrates the building. When water/ moisture enters the working joint, the expansion process starts and creates a sealing effect. The swelling tapes are suitable for zones with frequently varying water levels. In principle swelling tapes are divided into Bentonite swelling tapes based on bentonite and TPE swelling tapes which withstand high pressures and have a high resistance against chemicals.
