Sealing of distance tubes at low temperatures
Winter poses many challenges for construction sites. One is the secure waterproofing of distance tubes despite difficult weather conditions. At sub-zero temperatures adhesives quickly reach their limits and may fail.
MASTERTEC's STOPPER – internal seals for distance tubes, made of highly resistant plastic specially developed for this application – provide a safe and efficient solution for this problem. The STOPPERs are just simply hammered in using a rubber mallet and immediately seal them against pressurised water, at temperatures from -35°C to +70°C.
The three types –STOPPER in, STOPPER mini and STOPPER maxi – guarantee a visually appealing seal. Further below, we are also drawing your attention to our patented option for secure sealing of formwork tie holes: the STOPPER SCREW.
